Regularly scheduled council meetings can be viewed in person or remotely through a live stream on the Municipality of Central Elgin's CivicWeb or YouTube page. The live stream will be available when the regularly scheduled meeting begins.
Agendas and reports for council meetings are published online before the meeting.
Speak at a Meeting
To speak before Council as a delegation, please submit a delegation form by 4:30 pm on the Wednesday before the Council meeting. The form should outline the reason for your appearance. The Deputy Clerk will confirm your inclusion on the agenda before the meeting.

Closed Sessions
In some cases Central Elgin's Council, committees and boards will need to meet privately to deal with confidential matters. These closed meetings are not open to the public and are governed by the rules set out in section 239 of the Municipal Act.
Anyone who believes a meeting of Council was closed to the public and not in compliance with the Municipal Act, 2001 may submit a Closed Meeting Complaint Form.
