NOTICE OF INTENTION TO REMOVE A HOLDING SYMBOL FROM ZONING BY-LAW 1507 OF THE VILLAGE OF PORT STANLEY
Draft Plan of Subdivision (34T-CE1801) – Kokomo Beach Club, Phase 3
TAKE NOTICE that pursuant to Subsection 36(4) of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, as amended, the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Central Elgin may pass an amending by-law to remove a holding symbol from Zoning By-Law 1507. The earliest date on which Council proposes to meet to consider the amending By-law is the 11th day of April, 2022, commencing at 7:00 P.M. in the Council Chambers of the County Administration Building, located at 450 Sunset Drive, St. Thomas.
The proposed amending By-law will apply to lands located within the Phase 3 of the Kokomo Beach Club subdivision (File # 34T-CE1801). Legally described as Lots 1 To 10 Inclusive Plan M17; S/T LT6631; Reserve Block B & Marr Road Plan M17; Lots 1 To 55 Inclusive Plan M30; Block 56 Plan M30; S/T Ease Over Parts 1 & 3, 11R-1261 As IN El33008 (El59102, El66898, E171414, El78578, E186949, El90437); Blocks 57 TO 62 Inclusive, Blocks 64 TO 69 Inclusive Plan M30, Marr Road, Burke Drive, Selkirk Street, Plan M30; Lot B Plan 117; Save & Except Part l, 11R-9836; Part of Lake Road Plan 117 Closed by By-Law 76 and Confirmed by By-law 84; Part of Lot 15 Range 1 SLR Southwold Designated as Parts 1 TO 8, 11R-1261; S/T PS6633 Assigned by 8237 Partially Released by El39954; Municipality of Central Elgin, the subject lands are shown on the Key Map below.
The lots affected by this amendment are located within the Residential Zone 1 (h1 h2 R1-72) and Residential Zone 2 (h1 h2 R2-1) of the Village of Port Stanley By-law 1507. The holding zone provisions do not permit development to occur until the conditions for the removal of the holding symbol, as set out in Section 9.2.2.72.12 and 9.3.2.1.11 of By-law 1507 of By-law 1507 have been met.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION relating to the proposed removal of the holding symbol from the property described above is available for inspection daily, from Monday to Friday, between 9:00A.M. and 4:00P.M. at the Municipal Offices and at the Central Elgin Planning Office, 9 Mondamin Street, St. Thomas.
