CENTRAL ELGIN – The Municipality of Central Elgin is pleased to announce that David Aristone has been appointed as the Interim Director of Finance/ Treasurer for the Municipality.
“On behalf of Central Elgin Council, I am excited to welcome Mr. Aristone to the Municipality,” said Mayor Andrew Sloan. “His extensive experience makes him an asset to our team and I am confident that the Finance department will be well positioned for the ongoing Budget process under his leadership.”
David brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the role. He is a retired Treasurer who formally served a number of municipalities in Elgin County over the past 38 years. He holds the professional accounting designation of CPA, CA and is a member of the Association of Municipal Clerks and Treasurer’s of Ontario and the Municipal Finance Officers Association of Ontario.
David has extensive experience with municipal budgeting and taxation, as well as financial management of municipal services such as water and sewer.
The appointment of David to the position of Interim Director of Finance/ Treasurer took effect on December 11, 2023.
