TAKE NOTICE that The Municipality of Central Elgin, St. Thomas, Ontario, Canada, hereby gives notice that an application has been made to the Minister of Transport, pursuant to the Canadian Navigable Waters Act for approval of the work described herein and its site and plans.

Pursuant to paragraph 7(2) of the said Act, the Municipality of Central Egin has deposited with the Minister of Transport, on the on-line Common Project Search Registry (http://cps.canada.ca/) under the NPP File Number 2023-408452 a description of the following work, its site and plans:

  • to conduct maintenance dredging by mechanical methods in Port Stanley harbour, Lake Erie, Central Elgin Municipality, Elgin County, Ontario Canada, in and about 42° 39’ 39” N, 81° 12’ 47” W, in 2023, after ice-out, with dispersal of the dredged, clean, sand into Lake Erie, east off the harbour, at about the 5 m contour, at 42° 39’ 52” N, 81° 11’ 38” W, and at 42° 39’ 40” N, 81° 09’ 29” W.
