The Municipal and School Board Election Day is Monday, October 24th!
Did you know that voting on election day is just one of the ways you can vote? To make voting easier for all voters we have 6 advanced voting locations:
  • Advanced Poll No. 1 - Saturday, October 1, 2022
Belmont Arena, 14020 Belmont Road from10 am to 4 pm
  • Advanced Poll No. 2 - Saturday, October 8, 2022
Port Stanley Arena, 332 Carlow Road from 10 am to 4 pm
  • Advanced Poll No. 3 - Sunday, October 16, 2022
Masonic Centre of Elgin, 42703 Fruit Ridge Line from10 am to 4 pm
  • Advanced Poll No. 4 - Wednesday, October 19, 2022
Belmont Arena, 14020 Belmont Road from 1 pm to 7 pm

Instructions for Advanced Polling:
  1. When you arrive at the voting location, you will be asked to show your ID to an election official who will check if you are registered on the voters list.
  2. If you are not on the list, the election official will add you to the voters list and ask you to sign a declaration. The election official will then issue you a ballot.
  3. You will go behind a voting screen to mark your ballot. To vote for your chosen candidate, mark an X in the square beside their name, and return the completed ballot to the ballot box.
  4. You will place your marked ballot in to the secrecy folder and take it to an election official operating a tabulator.
Please note that all our voting locations will offer accessible voting equipment to those who need it.
