The Blue Flag is officially flying at Port Stanley Main Beach for 2024!
Members of Council gathered this morning to raise the flag for the 14th consecutive year, marking the start of another incredible beach season in Port Stanley.
To earn this designation, beaches must meet rigorous international standards in water quality, environmental management, environmental education, safety and services. Central Elgin has successfully met all 33 criteria!
The Blue Flag signifies that our beach is clean, well-managed, and upholds the highest safety standards. It’s a symbol of our commitment to sustainability and preserving our beautiful shoreline.
