Please note there are garbage schedule changes for pick-up that regularly occurs on Wednesday and Tuesday. 

The Municipal Office, 450 Sunset, will be closed on Wednesday, July 1 in observance of Canada Day. We will reopen on Thursday, July 2 at 8:30 a.m.

If you're planning to celebrate with fireworks, please keep by-laws and fire safety top of mind.

Lifeguards Back on Duty at Port Stanley Main Beach

Beginning this weekend, lifeguards are back on duty at Port Stanley Main Beach, marking the start of another summer beach season in Central Elgin. 

Lifeguards will supervise designated swimming areas daily through Labour Day weekend, helping residents and visitors enjoy a safe summer along the Lake Erie shoreline.

Seeking Concession Vendors

Central Elgin is seeking concession vendors to operate at the Belmont Arena and Port Stanley Arena.
