Overnight Parking Permits Are Available   Despite the fact that there is no overnight parking in the municipality (all year round). We do offer Residential Overnight Parking Permits to residents in order to be exempt from the overnight parking ban during the winter months (subject to specified terms and limitations).   Please visit our Parking page to learn more, and apply!

LAST CALL Please remember that this coming Monday is our final Leaf & Yard Waste pick up date! For residents who do not live in built up areas of Central Elgin. You may take your leaves to St. Thomas Recycling (330 South Edgeware Road). Please remember:

  • All leaves must be in biodegradable paper yard waste bags and on the curb by 7am (Plastic bags will not be accepted)
  • Limbs and branches must be bundled in lengths of 1 metre or less.
